Anna Margaretha Am Rhein was born in 1588. She is the first daughter of Bastian Am Rhein and jis second wife Anna Nestler.

Anna Margaretha Am Rhein was one of at least four full siblings:

1. Anna Margaretha Am Rhein, born July 14, 1588
2. Johanna Ursula Am Rhein, born October 23, 1589, and baptized November 25, 1589, who married Johann Georg Artopoeus on September 23, 1617, and had children, including a son named after his father.
3. Hans Frederick Am Rhein, born in 1596, and baptized on November 22, 1596 In Strasbourg.
4. Rosina Am_Rhein, born 1598, who married Christian Schmutz, Sr., a tailor of clerical robes about 1627, had children and passed away in 1638.

Anna Margaretha Am Rhein also had two older half-siblings from her father's first marriage to Helena Ottler in September of 1577:

1. Anna Am Rhein, born in 1578, two years before the publication of the Book of Concord by the Lutheran reformers.
2. Maria Am Rhein, born between 1579 and 1586, who married Johann Albertus Frantz on August 17, 1617 in Strasbourg, the year before the beginning of the 30 Years War which devastated the Alsace region of Europe.

Anna Margaretha Am Rhein passed away.
